Do you suffer from BPH?
How does Optilume Work?
The Optilume® BPH Catheter System is a minimally invasive, drug-coated balloon treatment delivered through the urethra using a telescopic camera.
Once positioned within the prostate, the balloon is gently expanded to create an opening and delivers a safe, well-studied medication called paclitaxel directly to the treated tissue.

After the medication is fully released, the balloon is deflated and removed. The drug helps prevent the prostate lobes from re-narrowing, keeping the channel open and restoring normal urine flow.

No heating. No burning. No lasering. No steaming.

Optilume for Urethral Stricture
The Optilume device expands the scar tissue surrounding the urethral stricture, creating a dilation and micro-fissures across the affected area. This allows the drug, paclitaxel, to be delivered directly to the stricture. This combined technique results in limiting scar tissue generation and helps prevent future stricture recurrence.
